T-Ball

The next two weeks Jonathan will be participating in a Jr. Sports Camp. Three days a week he'll get together with other kids his age and learn about a different sport. Today the sport was T-Ball. The kids had the opportunity to practice throwing the ball, batting, and running the bases. Jonathan did really well at throwing the ball. The coaches challenged the kids that if anyone threw the ball further than the coaches then the coaches would do push-ups. Jonathan came within inches of out throwing one of his coaches. He was so excited!
He looks like such a little ball player in this picture with his sun glasses, glove, and cap on. This was right after he almost out threw his coach.
How cute is this? The helmets were gigantic on the kids. He had a lot of fun hitting the ball off the tee and actually asked if we could buy him a tee to play with at home. Apparently he is tired of my sub-par pitching performances.
Running the bases. He picked this up very quickly and it didn't take long for him to become the leader of the pack.

He had so much fun and was really disappointed that he can't do it again every day. Wednesday he gets to try bowling. Should be fun!
