Movie Night

Several weeks ago we rented Alvin and the Chipmunks. I blame McDonalds. You see Jonathan had never even heard of the Chipmunks until he received Theodore in his Happy Meal. That was the beginning of Chipmunk fever in our house. We just had to rent the movie, at least that was Jonathan's opinion. One Friday night we all got in our pajamas, popped some popcorn, and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. Jonathan LOVED it. He goes around the house talking the the Chipmunks, singing like the Chipmunks, and telling us all about what happened in the movie that we watched with him. He absolutely can not wait until the second movie comes out on DVD. We may be living with Chipmunk fever for a while.

I think my favorite part of the whole evening involved Jason and the chairs the boys are sitting on in the picture. After we had made the popcorn both boys settled down on the floor. Suddenly Jason got up and I knew he had a purpose. He went over to the boys table and grabbed on chair brought it into the living room and then went back for the other and placed it right next to the first chair. Then after sitting down in his chair he patted the other chair and said, "JD here." Melt my heart!
