- Born and raised in Alaska, I graduated from the University of Idaho in 2004 with a degree in Public Relations but then decided that wasn't what I really wanted to do. I spent some time teaching preschool and then went back to school to get certified to teach elementary school. Now I live in Alaska with my husband and two boys.

Thanks for sharing this. I caught myself saying the r-word the other day, and I was so embarrassed! I try to be an example for my kids, and I wasn't much of an example! We get into such a habit saying stupid words, and don't think it hurts anybody. It's so important to be conscious of EVERY word that comes out of our mouths! Thanks again!
